The Political Action Committee, Citizens for Community Standards, has nearly completed the signature-gathering phase of the referendum process, and if successful, Substitute Senate Bill No. 16 will be placed on the ballot in November as Issue 1.  The Committee has determined that it will use the name  "Vote No on Issue 1 Committee" for this phase of the campaign.

Use of the new name, "Vote No on Issue 1 Committee" will end the dispute between Citizens for Community Standards and Citizens for Community Values currently pending in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Ohio, and in due course, the case will be dismissed.

The parties have agreed to make no further comment on the subject.
