Stand with Hobby Lobby and Religious Freedom for All Americans

March 25th, 2014

I stand for Green family smrOn March 26, 2014, Hobby Lobby and Conestoga Woods go before the Supreme Court to defend their right to operate their businesses in accordance with their faith. Both companies have refused to comply with HHS regulations that mandate they offer insurance policies which include contraceptives, sterilizations, and abortifacient drugs.

Hobby Lobby faces $1.3 million in punishing fines PER DAY if they lose this case OR having to cancel the health coverage for all their employees. It is imperative that religious and conservative Americans demonstrate that a large portion of the American public remains committed to the full expression of religious liberty—as envisioned by our founders, and guaranteed by our Constitution.

CCV is proud to partner with Family Research Council and pro-family organizations throughout the nation to support the #HobbyLobbyDay campaign!

Join us in taking unified action to show our support for religious freedom for all Americans!

IMPORTANT: 30 Day Action Plan to Defeat the BSA Resolution

April 29th, 2013

Dear Scouting Friend,

Last Friday we learned that the BSA resolution which was proposed by national BSA leaders was not just bad.  It was really bad.  The proposal did not even give to each troop 1boyscouta choice on the matter but instead mandates that all chartered scouting units facilitate open homosexuality among boy scouts, disrespecting thousands of chartering partner churches and their religious convictions.  These denominations like the Methodists, the Catholics and Baptists have been the backbone of Scouting for decades and there is simply no way they can embrace this proposal.

The good news is this:  I am very optimistic this resolution can and will be defeated.  Because if the resolution does pass, it will destroy scouting as we know it because of a mass exodus of tens if not hundreds of thousands of parents, scoutmasters and donors.

Below are three opportunities to engage in our plan of action.   Initially, we need people immediately willing to lead and organize local meeting in your council.  Later, we will need everyone and anyone to show support.  Please carefully review the opportunities below and respond ASAP.   The time is short and we have only about 30 days to save scouting from financial, social and legal devastation.

Thanks for all your efforts to preserve Scouting’s timeless values.

Your Voice Was Heard!!

February 11th, 2013

BoyScouts blueLast week, it was a done deal.

Or so thought some of the Boy Scouts of America’s national Board of Directors. The board was poised to revoke their longstanding policy against having openly homosexual leaders and Scouts. Only a perfunctory discussion this week stood in the way, and the board would make the decision, appeasing corporate elites and homosexual activists. A done deal.

Then, America stood tall.

Scouts Consider Breaking Camp with Tradition

January 30th, 2013

1boyscout“For 103 years, the mission of the Boy Scouts has been “to prepare young people to make ethical choices.” Unfortunately, the organization’s leadership seems less inclined to make those same choices themselves, as rumors swirl that the Board is on the verge of reversing its longtime policy on homosexuality. ”

January 24th, 2012

…”Home Depot has a policy regarding grants and donations,” he points out. “They will give cash and they will allow their employees to march in uniform in homosexual ‘gay pride’ parades. However, if a local church or Christian ministry were to have a parade, Home Depot would not donate to that and … would not allow their employees to participate while in uniform.”…

The July/August American Association of Retired Persons (AARP) bulletin announced the implementation of advocacy for the homosexual agenda.  According to their web page, AARP has chosen to “spotlight articles on news, personal finance, relationships, travel and other topics of concern to older gay Americans, and their family and friends.” The page also “provides information about AARP’s positions and advocacy efforts in this arena.” Articles include celebrating the repeal of Don’t Ask Don’t Tell and the review of a recent book that finds a “balance” between being gay and religious.
