Citizens for Community Values, Greater Cincinnati Right to Life, and Ohio Lawmakers announce legislation to protect parental rights
CINCINNATI – Citizens for Community Values and Greater Cincinnati Right to Life will be hosting a press conference with Ohio lawmakers and SW Ohio church leaders and families to announce legislation to ensure children cannot be taken from their parents’ homes in order to give them dangerous and untested puberty-suppressing or hormone-manipulating drugs.
The legislation is a result of an unprecedented decision from Hamilton County Visiting Judge Sylvia Hendon to remove a minor from her parents’ custody, and place her with the grandparents so that Cincinnati Children’s Hospital can administer the medication.
CCV will also be announcing other actions taken in response to this dangerous affront to the rights of parents and the health and well being of children.
WHO: Citizens for Community Values, Greater Cincinnati Right to Life, Rep. Tom Brinkman, other Ohio lawmakers, and SW Ohio Church Leaders and Families
WHERE: Hamilton County Courthouse Steps, 1000 Main St, Cincinnati, OH 45202
WHEN: Monday, February 26 at 10:00 a.m.
