Monty Lobb
Christian Business Partnership Executive Director
Monty Lobb joined our team in January 2025 as Executive Director of the Christian Business Partnership (the Partnership), Ohio's only statewide Christian Chamber of Commerce and a partner ministry of CCV.
Before assuming his role with the Partnership, Monty served as Executive Director of the Business Innovation Center at Ohio Christian University, where he held various teaching and leadership positions over a 12-year period.
Monty is also a Fellow at American Center for Civic Character and owner of Kenosis, Ltd., an organizational change consulting firm. His prior experiences include serving as a Public Defender in Fairfield County; Associate Professor of Business at Mount Vernon Nazarene University; General Counsel, Assistant Secretary of State, and Chief of Staff at the Ohio Secretary of State office; and Deputy General Counsel at the Ohio Treasury. In 2004, the State of Ohio named Monty the Certified Public Manager of the Year.
Monty was also the President of CCV, then known as Citizens for Community Values, from 1990 to 1991. During his tenure, CCV exposed the Mapplethorpe art exhibit in Cincinnati, which contained obscene pictures of men doing sex acts and of nude children. That landmark case launched CCV onto the national stage.
Monty received his law degree from The University of Dayton School of Law in 1988, and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Finance and English in 1984 from Olivet Nazarene University.
