Seeking the Good of Our Neighbor, March 2026

It has been a busy month at the Statehouse as the legislature gets back into full swing! Our team is hard at work moving several key bills across the finish line to ensure Ohio remains a place where families can flourish. One of our big highlights this month was supporting House Bill 693, the Affirming Families First Act, which just had its first hearing. This bill is all about protecting parents' rights to raise their children according to their biological sex without fear of state interference. We’re also keeping the momentum going for Senate Bill 156 (the Success Sequence), which is now being heard in the House after successfully passing the Senate.

Beyond those updates, we’re keeping a close eye on the Baby Olivia Act (HB485) and the Patient Protection Act (HB324) as they move through the Senate. Both bills are vital for protecting the unborn and ensuring medical safety in our state. On the other hand, we’re staying vocal in our opposition to House Bill 476 and similar proposals being discussed at the statehouse which would expand online gambling—something we believe hurts our local communities. We are so grateful for your continued prayers and support as we navigate these final months of the 136th General Assembly.

Psalms 23:3 (ESV)

“He restores my soul. He leads me in paths of righteousness for his name's sake.”
