We’ve planted 25 Christian schools, another 30 on the way!
If you've been following the work of Center for Christian Virtue (CCV) and our Ohio Christian Education Network (OCEN) for the past few years, you can remember when the school-in-a-church model was simply an exciting idea. Then, in 2022, we celebrated the first school to open its doors using this model.
Now, after five years of praying and watching God take this seed of an idea, nurture it, and bring it to life, we are celebrating as 10 new Christian school plants open their doors this year, including the first schools OCEN has helped plant outside of Ohio!
This year, we've helped launch brand-new schools in Arizona and Missouri, alongside nine new campuses across Ohio.
Over the past five years, God has allowed us to help plant 25 Christian schools, and another 30 school plants are currently in the pipeline!
Through our school-in-a-church model, local churches are transforming their existing space into vibrant places of learning. This makes high-quality, Christ-centered education both geographically and financially accessible to families who are hungry for an education rooted in the truth of Scripture.
As OCEN Executive Director Troy McIntosh shares,
"Every new school means more families have access to an education that not only prepares their children academically, but helps form them in their faith and teaches them to see the world through the truth of Scripture. OCEN is helping churches turn that vision into reality, and the demand shows families across the country are hungry for what Christian education offers."

The Ridge Christian Academy — Villa Ridge, Missouri
St. Gregory Classical Academy — Akron, Ohio
St. Edmund Campion Academy — Cincinnati, Ohio
Community Christian Learning Center — Dayton, Ohio
Defiance Christian Academy — Defiance, Ohio
Sophia Learning Center — Kettering, Ohio
McComb Christian Academy — McComb, Ohio
Piqua Christian School — Piqua, Ohio
St. Peregrine Academy — Richfield, Ohio
