A Historic Day for School Choice in Ohio

Yesterday, Center for Christian Virtue was honored to welcome US Secretary of Education Linda McMahon, Ohio Governor Mike DeWine, First Lady Fran DeWine, and US Senator Bernie Moreno to our Columbus office for a press conference announcing exciting new investments in school choice.

Parents and students from CCV’s Ohio Christian Education Network (OCEN) joined the celebration, sharing firsthand how Ohio’s EdChoice scholarship program has opened doors to Christ-centered, affordable education. Their testimonies highlighted the life-changing impact of school choice for families across the state.

This milestone comes as the US Department of Education announced record funding for charter and school choice programs nationwide, and Ohio received nearly $105 million to expand high-quality school options.
