CCV-Backed Bill Keeping Out California Bureaucrats

Did you hear the great news??

A Center for Christian Virtue-backed provision in the state budget is keeping California bureaucrats from coming to our great state!

California Attorney General Rob Bonta has banned all California state employees from using tax-payer dollars to travel to the Buckeye State.

Why?

Because the state of Ohio passed a CCV-backed law to ensure doctors and medical professionals can’t be forced to perform medical procedures that violate their consciences. This means that doctors and nurses can’t be forced to:

  • Take the lives of innocent unborn children

  • Administer medications or vaccines that violate their consciences

  • Perform transgender surgeries by amputating healthy organs or body parts from adults or children

Unfortunately, the California Attorney General is lying and fear-mongering about the bill, claiming it’s going to allow doctors to deny LGBT people life-saving care. The reality is this bill doesn’t allow anyone to deny someone care based on any characteristic or behavior of the patient.

It simply says that no one has the right to force medical professionals to do something they believe is unethical, harmful, or dangerous.

But no matter the reason, I think most Ohioans would agree it’s a net gain for our state for California bureaucrats to stay put. And the less of their radical progressive ideology that comes into our state, the better!

We couldn’t have protected medical professionals in Ohio—and kept California bureaucrats out!—without your help. The left has gotten increasingly hostile to religious freedom, and all too often the media goes along with them.

Will you celebrate today’s victory, and help CCV continue to make Ohio the state most UNlike California in the nation by making a tax-deductible donation today?
