CCV President Aaron Baer Speaks at City Club of Cleveland on "Faith, Policy, and Influence”
CLEVELAND—Today at noon, Center for Christian Virtue (CCV) President Aaron Baer is speaking at the City Club of Cleveland on "Faith, Policy, and Influence."
At a time when Christianity is increasingly pushed to the margins of public life, Aaron accepted this invitation to speak in a venue where the Gospel’s voice is rarely heard, making the case for why faith still belongs in our government and culture for the good of every Ohioan.
From the moment Aaron’s participation was announced, LGBT activists attempted to shut the event down, demanding cancellation or restructuring and mischaracterizing CCV as a “hate group” for holding to what the Church has taught for 2,000 years. Mainstream media outlets have amplified the attacks, including running near-daily coverage throughout this week.
Despite the pressure, the City Club of Cleveland refused to cave. By upholding free speech and the integrity of its forum, the City Club ensured that this important conversation would take place as scheduled.
Watch or Listen
While the in-person forum is sold out, the public is invited to join virtually at 12:00 pm today—Friday, January 16—as Aaron delivers his remarks and responds to unfiltered, unrehearsed questions from the audience.
Please consider taking a few moments to pray, watch, and stand with us as Aaron shares the Gospel’s truth in Ohio’s public square.
