It’s Election Day in Ohio! Follow These Three Steps to Vote Today

Today, Ohioans have the chance to live out one of our most important forms of stewardship: voting. As followers of Christ, we’re called to seek the good of our communities and engage faithfully in civic life. Here are three simple steps to help you vote with confidence before polls close tonight.

1. View your sample ballot

...and then research your candidates and ballot issues. This doesn't have to take long!

As a nonpartisan 501(c)(3), CCV cannot endorse or oppose candidates, and our next Voter Guide will be released for the 2026 General Election.

In the meantime, you can learn more about your ballot by checking:

  • Candidates’ official websites and social media pages

  • News articles, interviews, or debate clips

  • Endorsements from organizations you trust

Pro tip: Sometimes the best clue is who not to vote for. If a group you disagree with is cheering for a candidate, that can tell you a lot about that candidate's views.

2. Find your Polling Place

Click here to find your local polling place for Election Day.

This location is often just a few minutes from the address associated with your voter registration.

3. Go Vote!

Your local polling place is open today only from 6:30 am–7:30 pm.

Absentee Ballot Note: The deadline to mail your absentee ballot has passed. If you still have your absentee ballot, you can personally deliver it to your county board of elections by 7:30 pm today (not to your local polling place).

Every election shapes your family, schools, and community. Take a moment to pray, reflect, and prepare to exercise your stewardship of God’s institutions (Jeremiah 29:7).
