Nearly 70% of Americans Demand an End to Mail-Order Abortions
The era of the "no-rules" abortion pill is under fire. New polling from The Daily Wire reveals a massive shift in public opinion: a clear majority of Americans want the federal government to reverse course and restore basic safety standards for chemical abortions. Even those who identify as pro-choice are beginning to see the danger of the current reckless approach.
For years, the FDA has prioritized the agenda of abortion activists over the health of women. By stripping away requirements for in-person doctor visits, they have turned private living rooms and bathrooms into mail-order crime scenes. The data confirms this sobering reality. Recent research from the Ethics and Public Policy Center (EPPC)—the largest-ever study of the abortion pill—reveals that the real-world rate of serious complications is 22 times higher than what the pharmaceutical label suggests. It is not healthcare when nearly 1 in 9 women end up in the emergency room suffering from life-threatening consequences like sepsis and hemorrhaging.
In Ohio, CCV is leading the charge to stop this negligence. The Patient Protection Act (HB324)—sponsored by Representatives Adam Mathews and Meredith Craig—is a common-sense shield for women. This bill, which passed the Ohio House in November and is currently pending in the Senate Health Committee, mandates in-person exams and follow-up care. It ensures women are screened for life-threatening complications instead of being sent a lethal cocktail in the mail without any medical supervision.
The abortion industry prioritizes profit over the safety of women and children. Ohioans deserve better. It is time for legislators to stop the mail-order crime scenes. The public demand for truth and transparency in healthcare can no longer be ignored.
