Prepare for November’s General Election!

The November General Election is just around the corner! Prepare to cast your ballot by viewing the following FAQs:

  • General Election Day is Tuesday, November 4.

    Polls are open from 6:30 am - 7:30 pm.

  • Voter registration status can be found online here.

  • Voter information can be changed on the Secretary of State’s website.

  • Ohio polling locations can be found on the Ohio voting map.

  • Sample ballots can be found online at the Secretary of State’s website.

  • If you plan to vote by mail, the deadline to request your absentee ballot is Tuesday, October 28 at 8:30 pm.

    You can request an absentee ballot online from your local Board of Elections.

  • Early in-person voting hours are as follows:

    October 7-10: 8:00 am - 5:00 pm

    October 14-17: 8:00 am - 5:00 pm

    October 20-24: 8:00 am - 5:00 pm

    October 27: 7:30 am - 7:30 pm

    October 28: 7:30 am - 8:30 pm

    October 29-31: 7:30 am - 7:30 pm

    November 1: 8:00 am - 4:00 pm

    November 2: 1:00 pm - 5:00 pm

While our next nonpartisan Voter Guide won’t be available until the 2026 General Election, you can research candidates and issues for yourself using their social media and websites, as well as endorsements and resources from across the political spectrum. We’ve included a few to get you started!
