WATCH: Ohio Senate to Vote on Overriding Governor's Veto of HB68, the Save Women's Sports Act and SAFE Act

COLUMBUS—The Ohio Senate is expected to vote on whether to override Governor Mike DeWine's veto of Substitute House Bill (HB68) today—Wednesday, January 24—during its 1:30 pm session.

The CCV-backed bill, which includes the Save Women's Sports Act and the SAFE (Saving Adolescents From Experimentation) Act, bans sterilizing and experimental transgender medicine on children and protects girls from being forced to compete against boys in K-12 and collegiate athletics.

Please note that the Senate's session agenda may include other points for consideration, and HB68 may not be the first to be heard.
