We launched a school

A message from Center for Christian Virtue President Aaron Baer

It’s amazing what God can do when you offer Him your “Yes.”

That’s what we did at Center for Christian Virtue nearly two years ago.

We were witnessing the harm that COVID school closures were having on children. Students were falling behind academically, many for the rest of their lives.

And we continued to see the expansion of dangerous curriculum grooming children with LGBT ideology, and pushing Critical Race Theory in public schools across our state and nation.

We knew the Church had to respond… and in a big way.

So at our galas in 2020, we cast an ambitious vision: CCV was going to build a model for churches to start financially viable, affordable, 5-days-a-week schools in their existing Sunday school classrooms.

I was told this couldn’t be done. We didn’t even know who we were going to need to make that vision happen.

But God called us, and we said, "Yes," and families like yours joined us to make it happen.

And last night, we commissioned our first Christian school.

This is only the beginning.

Westside Christian School in Columbus’ Hilltop will become a model that churches across this state – and, Lord willing, nation – can replicate.

We are going to take church buildings that are empty 6 days a week, and put their Sunday school classrooms to use full time for the glory of God.

We already have 20 churches that have stepped forward to say they’d like to start a school next year.

But in order to do this, we must continue to expand the CCV team… significantly. We can’t do it without your help.

If you stand with us, and by God’s grace, we can save more kids from an academically-failing and morally-bankrupt system.

Help us exponentially expand this Christ-centered vision!

We’re so grateful for your prayers and support! Check out these pictures from the Commissioning ceremony last night, or click here to watch the Facebook stream of the evening.

Your brother in Christ,
