According to an investigation by the State Medical Board of Ohio, the Toledo man, Hassan-James Abbas, a doctor in Toledo, bought abortion pills online using his estranged wife’s name and crushed them into a powder, which he forced the victim to orally ingest while pinning her down. The unborn child did not survive.
