ACLU Admits Anti-Parent Ballot Initiative Puts Parental Rights on the Line in Ohio
The ACLU has unequivocally declared war on parental rights in Ohio, telling local media this week that existing parental consent and notification laws in Ohio “should not be enforced” if the abortion industry succeeds in passing its anti-parent ballot initiative later this fall. The ACLU has been fighting against parental rights for decades now – and Ohio parents are simply their latest target.


The Rundown: Abortion Battle Builds in Ohio
Pro-abortion activists can begin the process of collecting 412,500 valid signatures to place an issue on the November ballot that would legalize painful, late-term abortions in Ohio. Ohio Attorney General Dave Yost deemed that the language in the petition was “fair and truthful.” The Ohio Ballot Board also certified that the proposal contained only one constitutional amendment. Planned Parenthood and its allies have until Wednesday, July 5, to submit the required number of signatures.
