ANOTHER Ohio YMCA Allows Adult Male Predator to Target Teen Girls
It's time to stop the free rein of predators and modernize Ohio's Indecent Exposure Laws. Tell the Ohio Senate Judiciary Committee to pass HB249!
Ohio’s outdated public indecency laws have created more young victims.
The latest invasion of girls' privacy occurred at the YMCA in Louisville, Ohio, where a 25-year-old male employee claimed "transgender" status to access a locker and shower facility specifically reserved for minor girls.
His conduct included:
Wearing a revealing women’s swimsuit that highlighted his male genitalia.
Bathing inches away from 15-year-old Isabel and other minor girls.
Using a narrow walkway as an excuse to rub against Isabel while undressed.
This ongoing nightmare has to stop. Now.
The Solution: Pass HB249 Immediately
HB249 addresses the loopholes that make our daughters vulnerable to these predators.
The bill passed the Ohio House but is currently stalled in the Senate Judiciary Committee, which is chaired by Senator Nathan Manning—a Republican whose voting record has earned high ratings from transgender activists.
Riley Gaines, a former NCAA swimmer and defender of women's sports, shared with Center for Christian Virtue:
"I stand with Isabel and the thousands of young girls like her whose safety and privacy rights have been violated. The YMCA receives over $600 million in taxpayer dollars every year and then violates federal law by allowing men into girls’ locker rooms. Taxpayers shouldn’t be forced to fund this, and Ohio needs to pass HB249 now!"
