The report, published by the Charlotte Lozier Institute with assistance from the Ohio Coalition of Pregnancy Centers, documents the scale and impact of pregnancy centers in the state.
In 2024 alone, Ohio pregnancy centers provided practical, life-affirming care to families in need, including:
37,690 free pregnancy tests
34,096 free ultrasounds performed by registered nurses and medical sonographers
4,134 free STD/STI tests administered by registered nurses
262,409 free packs of diapers
159,518 free packs of baby wipes
269,779 free baby clothing outfits
22,772 free containers of formula
Thousands of free car seats, strollers, and cribs
The report also highlights nearly 290,000 client sessions in Ohio, a 98 percent national client satisfaction rate, and 8 out of 10 center locations operate as medical clinics staffed by licensed professionals.
Pregnancy centers serve a vital role in building a culture of life in Ohio. That is why Center for Christian Virtue is proud to formally partner with the Ohio Coalition of Pregnancy Centers to expand compassionate, community-based support for moms, dads, and babies across the state.
"When people ask what the pro-life movement is doing to help moms, dads, and babies in need, just take one look at this Pregnancy Center State Impact Report. The report highlights that every day, staff, donors, and volunteers are providing tangible support and hope to those in need," said Peter Range, Senior Fellow for Center for Christian Virtue. "We are thrilled to be a partner with the Ohio Coalition of Pregnancy Centers, whose members are doing heroic work to love women, men, and babies."
Savannah Marten, President of the Ohio Coalition of Pregnancy Centers and Executive Director of Bella Vita Network, emphasized the long-term impact of this work.
"Pregnancy centers across our state show up every day with unwavering dedication to mothers, children, and families, often with limited resources and a whole lot of grit. Their teams serve quietly, compassionately, and faithfully, meeting women in moments of fear and uncertainty with practical help, hope, and dignity," said Marten.
"As President of the Ohio Coalition of Pregnancy Centers, this report shows what I see firsthand: how deeply committed these centers are to walking alongside families, not just in crisis moments, but for the long haul. Their work is essential, life-affirming, and rooted in a belief that every mother deserves support and every child has inherent worth."
