Save Hyde, Save Lives: Tell Ohio’s US Senators to Oppose Taxpayer-Funded Abortion

For 50 years, the Hyde Amendment has ensured that Americans are not forced to pay for abortion with our tax dollars. Right now, however, there is an attempt to revive lapsed Obamacare subsidies with a proposal that excludes clear Hyde Amendment protections, meaning taxpayer dollars could be used to pay for health insurance plans that cover abortions.

Be a voice for the millions of lives at stake if Hyde is erased.

Call on Ohio's US Senator Moreno and US Senator Husted to oppose taxpayer-funded abortion in any “deal” on Obamacare subsidies.

Taxpayer funding of abortion has long been one of the issues where both sides of the aisle actually agree – taxes shouldn’t fund abortions! A poll last year found that 57 percent of Americans, including 41 percent of those who consider themselves “pro-choice,” oppose “using tax dollars to pay for abortion.”

No elected representative who calls themselves pro-life should surrender on the Hyde Amendment. This is a red line for pro-lifers, and more importantly, for the millions of babies at risk if Hyde should fall.

Take Action

Now is the moment to speak up. Through CCV’s Action Center, you can quickly contact Senator Moreno and Senator Husted and encourage them to defend the Hyde Amendment. The process takes less than a minute!
