Please pray for Charlie Kirk
A statement from Center for Christian Virtue President Aaron Baer
Dear friend,
Our brother in Christ, Charlie Kirk, was shot at a Turning Point USA (TPUSA) event at Utah Valley University this afternoon.
While there are few details on Charlie’s status at the time of sending this email, I ask that you join me and the CCV team in prayer for Charlie’s complete healing. Also, be in prayer for Charlie’s wife and children, along with the entire TPUSA team.
Charlie Kirk has inspired millions of Christians, especially college students, to stand courageously for the truth. He is a gifted and fearless communicator and a brilliant leader. Our nation has not witnessed political violence like this in decades, but this attack will not silence Charlie or CCV’s message.
We will be sure to let you know any details we receive about his status, as well as our scheduled September 26 Cleveland Gala with Charlie.
But until then, please pray in the confidence of Psalm 145:18: “The Lord is near to all who call to him, to all who call on him in truth.”
