ANNOUNCING: Todd Marrah to Lead the New United States Christian Education Network

Blessing Every Child in America with Access to a High-Quality Christian Education

COLUMBUS—Center for Christian Virtue (CCV) is announcing the launch of the United States Christian Education Network (USCEN) under the leadership of Executive Director Todd Marrah. USCEN's mission is to launch and support state-based public policy associations to advocate for the protection and expansion of Christian education at statehouses across America.

“CCV’s Ohio Christian Education Network was launched in 2018 to protect the religious liberty of Christian schools and ensure every family in Ohio has access to a Gospel-centered education,” said Center for Christian Virtue President Aaron Baer. “Today, OCEN is the largest state advocacy network of Evangelical and Catholic schools in the nation, with an unmatched record of success. With the launch of USCEN, we're aiming to export this model of success to all 50 states.”

Under the leadership of Todd Marrah, USCEN will operate with a franchise-model approach, identifying a stable, like-minded organization as a partner to form each state's network. To facilitate the rapid growth of the Christian Education Networks, USCEN has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Association of Christian Schools International (ACSI) to serve as their State-Based Public Policy Partner.

Todd Marrah, Ph.D., brings a wealth of experience to USCEN that provides unique insights into issues facing education and the church. He is Superintendent of Tree of Life Christian Schools in Columbus, Ohio, and Executive Pastor at Rock City Church, one of the fastest-growing churches in America. He also sits on the board of the Columbus Dream Center and is board chair of ACSI.

Todd will continue as Superintendent of Tree of Life Schools and Executive Pastor at Rock City Church while leading USCEN.

“There is a tremendous need across the United States for Christian schools to have state-based policy advocacy,” said OCEN Executive Director Troy McIntosh. “Under Todd Marrah's leadership, USCEN will ensure that Christian schools can successfully fulfill their mission in a sometimes hostile educational and political landscape. His demonstrated leadership and strong connections across the nation immediately position USCEN to become the leading public policy advocate for Christian schools.”
