Wolves in White Coats
A federal report commissioned by the US Department of Health and Human Services, co-authored by CCV president Aaron Baer, found hospitals had billed taxpayers and insurers more than $50 million in fraudulent codes to push gender medicine on children. Within a week the DOJ and HHS opened fraud reviews into nearly 200 clinics nationwide. Six of them are in Ohio.

The most pro-family budget in state history
CCV successfully advocated for key provisions in the 2025–2026 biennial budget that protect children, families, and election integrity, securing critical legislative approval across the board.

Every line above cleared the legislature inside the budget bill. The last two were removed by line-item veto on the day the governor signed it.
Standing Firm Beyond the Statehouse
Major policy shifts face intense legal and electoral opposition. CCV leads on front-line constitutional challenges, judicial appeals, and statewide ballot measures.
Defending and Preserving the SAFE Act
When the ACLU filed suit in March 2024 to block HB 68, CCV joined the legal defense. Judge Michael J. Holbrook ruled in favor of the law, allowing Ohio’s protections for minors and female sports to take full effect.
Leading the Coalition to Protect Women and Babies
As a founding partner of Protect Women Ohio, CCV spearheaded a multi-million-dollar statewide coalition campaign against the Issue 1 abortion amendment. While the measure passed, CCV remains steadfast in defending life from conception to natural death across Ohio.
Suing the Department of Education for Educational Freedom
Partnering with Christian schools and families, CCV filed suit against the Ohio Department of Education after bureaucracy blocked families from accessing state scholarship funds.
Hope and a Future
Published with the Institute for Family Studies in February 2025, the Hope and a Future Report demonstrates how declining marriage rates and family breakdown directly drive child poverty, addiction, and violence. The accompanying Family Structure Index, which provides a snapshot of the strength of families in all 50 states, ranked Ohio 29th.
