Courageous Shepherds in a Culture of Confusion
Pastors Must Lead in this Shifting Culture
Ohio pastors face unprecedented challenges as they lead their congregations in our current ideological climate. Every week brings new cultural shifts that test the Church’s values. How can pastors shepherd their congregations faithfully when the world around them grows increasingly complex and resistant to biblical truth?
The Tom Minnery Fellowship for Cultural Engagement was created to meet the needs of this critical moment. By God’s grace, what began as a vision to provide pastors with practical training and fellowship has grown into a statewide network forming leaders who stand firm on Scripture and lead with conviction.
Anchored and Equipped
In 2025, The Minnery Fellowship launched three regional cohorts, bringing together 12-15 pastors per group for a semester of guided study, discussion, practicums, and mutual encouragement.
Through these gatherings, pastors deepened their biblical convictions, built lasting bonds of fellowship, gained practical tools to lead their churches, and prepared to address today’s cultural challenges with confidence.
Dr. Tom Edwards, a participant, reflects:
“The Church Ambassador Network has been an invaluable blessing to my spiritual and leadership journey. Through the Minnery Fellowship, I’ve been profoundly edified—especially by the Spirit-led insight, theological depth, pastoral sensitivity, and facilitation of our cohort. CCV’s commitment to equipping leaders for faithful cultural engagement is both timely and transformative.”
Stories like Dr. Edwards’ are echoed throughout our cohorts: pastors are renewed, emboldened, and ready to guide their communities in truth and grace.
Growing to Meet the Need
Interest in the Minnery Fellowship has exceeded expectations. In 2026, the program is expanding to seven regional cohorts, with facilitators confirmed in Cleveland, Canton, Dayton, Mansfield, Cincinnati, and two in Columbus. Each cohort continues the commitment of blending theological depth, practical skill-building, and peer support to prepare pastors for real-world ministry challenges.
This spring, Fellows will study Magna Carta of Humanity by Dr. Os Guinness, exploring how biblical principles that shaped Western civilization can guide the moral and spiritual renewal of our nation.
A Christ-Centered Solution for Our Times
The Minnery Fellowship is sparking a movement of courageous pastors, stronger churches, and transformed communities.
In a culture increasingly adrift from God’s truth, revival must begin with the Church. Through the Minnery Fellowship, pastors are rising to meet the challenge, confident in Scripture and empowered by the Spirit.
Take two minutes to see how the Minnery Fellowship is equipping pastors to engage culture faithfully and how you can support this movement:
Across Ohio, a revival is taking root, led by pastors who are choosing conviction over compromise and truth over timidity. The Minnery Fellowship is helping them stand firm, speak clearly, and shepherd faithfully in a culture desperate for light. When pastors take courage, entire communities change.
Your support makes that possible. Every gift helps train and equip more Ohio pastors for this vital work.
