Answering God’s Call with Willie Robertson
This week on The Narrative, we bring you an unforgettable message from Duck Dynasty star, author, and entrepreneur Willie Robertson, recorded live at CCV’s 2025 Essential Summit.
With his signature humor and down-to-earth storytelling, Willie shares a powerful testimony of God’s redemption in his own family, how his parents’ marriage was miraculously restored, and how one bold preacher’s decision to walk into a bar changed generations.
The Evidence Gap in Pediatric Gender Medicine
Last week, the US Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) published Treatment for Pediatric Gender Dysphoria: Review of Evidence and Best Practices, which examines the medical interventions being used on children with gender dysphoria. The report reinforces what growing international evidence has already shown: the harms from sex-rejecting procedures are significant, long-term, and too often ignored or inadequately tracked.

When you give this season, your matched gift will help:
Equip Ohio families to stand for biblical truth
Amplify the Christian voice in state and local government
Expand the Church Ambassador Network to unite pastors and public servants
Train the next generation to live out their faith with courage
Together, we can meet this $50,000 challenge — and strengthen the foundation for an Ohio that honors God and serves people well.
The Battle for Civilization with Os Guinness
World-renowned author and social critic, Os Guinness, joins The Narrative to explain the civilizational crossroads America faces as the ideological descendants of the 1776 American Revolution clash with the ideals of the 1789 French Revolution.
With the nation’s 250th anniversary approaching in 2026, Guinness argues that it may be “the last, best chance of the last, best hope,” calling Christians to lead a renewal rooted in biblical truth.
Ohio House Session Over for 2025. What are we tracking for 2026?
With the 2025 session winding down, the Ohio legislature saw significant activity this week on several bills that directly affect parents, students, churches, and families. Here’s a quick look at what moved, why it matters, and what comes next.
BREAKING: Baby Olivia Act, Patient Protection Act Advance to Senate after Final House Session of 2025
The Baby Olivia Act ensures students receive accurate education in human development, and the Patient Protect Act implements common-sense safeguards for high-risk drugs like mifepristone. Next, on to the Ohio Senate!
A Wake-Up Call for Christian Parents: Who Is Discipling Our Children?
A clip from the late Pastor Voddie Baucham has resurfaced, raising a question that Christian families can’t afford to ignore: Who is really discipling our children?
“If we continue to send our children to Caesar for their education, we need to stop being surprised when they come home as Romans.”
In an age where secular ideologies saturate the classroom and biblical literacy is declining, Pastor Voddie’s observation is a stark reminder that discipleship doesn’t happen automatically.
Take Action: The Pro-Life Movement is on the Move!
Members of the Ohio House of Representatives are set to vote this week on two critical pro-life bills: House Bill 485 (HB485), sponsored by Rep. Melanie Miller (R-Ashland), and House Bill 324 (HB324), sponsored by Rep. Adam Mathews (R-Lebanon) and Rep. Meredith Craig (R-Smithville). Take action here to encourage your members to vote yes on these two bills!
The Christian Genocide in Nigeria with Evans and Ben Nwankwo
This week on The Narrative, Aaron, David, and Mike unpack how current FDA rules allowed a man to order abortion drugs in his wife’s name and forcibly give them to his pregnant girlfriend. They also highlight the media’s stunning lack of coverage, the worldview driving that silence, and what must happen now to protect women from coercion and abuse.
After their discussion, Evans and Ben Nwankwo of Ambassadors for Self Determination—native Nigerian brothers who now live in Ohio—join the conversation to expose the brutal reality of Christian persecution in Nigeria and an ongoing genocide claiming roughly 30 lives every day.
ACTION ALERT: Stand for Christians in Nigeria
US Senator Ted Cruz has introduced legislation in response to the genocide, labeling Nigeria a “Country of Particular Concern” and reaffirming Boko Haram and other Muslim extremist groups responsible for the murders as Entities of Particular Concern.
Stand for our brothers and sisters in Christ in Nigeria by using our Action Center to send a short note to your US Congressman and Senators, urging them to support Senator Cruz’s legislation!
Ohio Gambled and Lost: The Disaster of Sports Betting
Legalized just in 2023, Ohio's sports gambling has been widely popular and broadly fraught with disaster from the beginning.
What this scandal underscores is exactly what we’ve warned for years: Legalized sports betting is not a harmless pastime. When individual player actions serve as the basis for wagers, the door opens to manipulation, corruption, and the betrayal of trust in sport and society. This is a wake‑up call that every effort to normalize gambling weakens moral and cultural goods like fair competition, integrity, and community wellbeing.
Ohio Doctor Allegedly Forces Mother To take abortion Pill
A Toledo man held his pregnant girlfriend down while she was sleeping to force crushed abortion pills down her throat. According to an investigation by the State Medical Board of Ohio, the Toledo man, Hassan-James Abbas, a doctor in Toledo, bought abortion pills online using his estranged wife’s name and crushed them into a powder, which he forced the victim to orally ingest while pinning her down. The unborn child did not survive.
