COLUMBUS, Ohio — Center for Christian Virtue’s (CCV) Christian Education Network (CEN) is launching a national campaign to promote President Trump’s new Education Freedom Tax Credit and the Christian Education Network Scholarship Granting Organization, known as CEN SGO.

The campaign, titled “Stop Settling, Expect More,” begins airing nationwide Oct. 1 and runs through the end of the year. The campaign will introduce families across the country to CEN SGO and the new federal Education Freedom Tax Credit, which takes effect Jan. 1, 2027.

“America’s public education system is morally and academically failing our children,” said Aaron Baer, president of CCV and founder of CEN. “Enough is enough. Thanks to President Trump’s Education Freedom Tax Credit, families across America will be able to escape indoctrination and access a high-quality Christian education.”

Founded by CCV, CEN SGO was launched in 2026 as a national scholarship granting organization connecting donors, Christian schools, and families with the new federal school choice program.

Beginning Jan. 1, 2027, individuals will be able to contribute up to $1,700 to approved scholarship granting organizations, like CEN SGO, and receive a dollar-for-dollar federal tax credit. CEN SGO will use those contributions to provide scholarships helping families afford private Christian education.

“Christian schools across America have been a lifeline to families,” said Troy McIntosh, executive director of CEN. “This tax credit can open the doors to thousands of children and give more families access to an education rooted in faith, character and academic excellence.”

Donors in every state will be eligible to contribute and receive the federal tax credit, while scholarship eligibility depends on whether a state participates in the federal program.

The campaign builds on CEN’s growing national effort to expand access to Christian education.

Recently, CEN announced partnerships with organizations in seven other states to launch state affiliates to advocate for the expansion of Christian education and to help students, donors, and schools access the new Education Freedom Tax Credit.

The new affiliates include:

  • The Pennsylvania Christian Education Network (Pennsylvania Family Institute)
  • The Virginia Christian Education Network (Virginia Family Foundation)
  • The Indiana Christian Education Network (Indiana Family Institute)
  • The Georgia Christian Education Network (Frontline Policy Council)
  • The Massachusetts Education Network (Massachusetts Family Institute)
  • The Alaska Christian Education Network (The Alaska Family Council)
  • The Kentucky Christian Education Network (The Kentucky Family Foundation)

CEN SGO is designed to help Christian schools and families navigate the federal program and maximize participation, building on the network’s experience serving thousands of families and more than 100 Christian schools in eight states.
