House Bill 155 (HB155) would ban discriminatory diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) initiatives in Ohio’s public schools, including:
DEI training or courses, offices, departments, and job descriptions
Contracts that promote race- or gender-based decision-making
Rebranding or replacing DEI programs under different names with the same purpose

For any bill to become law, it must pass through both Chambers of the Ohio Statehouse before the governor can approve it.
HB155 is currently in House Committee and is similar to Senate Bill 113, which is in Senate Committee.
